Following last year’s fantastic course and production of A Little Night Music at The Place in Bedford, Bedfordshire Music Trust are excited to announce details of this year’s production of ‘Pirates of Penzance’ by Gilbert and Sullivan… as you’ve never seen it before!
Currently showing at the English National Opera until 25th March!
The Bedfordshire Youth Opera are looking for young singers and actors to enjoy a two-day workshop to introduce you to the show, the production team and each other.
Come along and swash-buckle like Captain Hook, military it up as one of the automaton Police… or have a sing as one of the Major General’s pretty ridiculous daughters – the possibilities are endless!
We are confident that having seen what the Youth Opera has to offer, you will want to take part in the final run at the Place Theatre in the Summer.
Whether you’ve been performing for years or have never sung on stage before, this is a great opportunity for students. You will receive excellent vocal coaching, work with a production team and make new friends.
If you are aged 14 -26 and have a passion for music and/or performance, this is for you!
