Course Timetable

Dear Students, Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to tell you about the Bedfordshire Music Trust Summer Events 2019.

In May we have our second Blow and Bow Weekend, and very much hope it will be as enjoyable and successful as the first one in February.

Once again there will be a whole range of musical activities, but as well as working as separate wind and string bands this time they will come together for the grand finale of the concert!

If your child enjoyed our recent Jamboree then this could be the perfect way to take their music making to the next step.

For further information on the Blow and Bow Weekend Course please click here or to sign up click on the link below.  In order to allow us time to process applications you MUST complete our online booking form for the Bow and Blow Weekend by FRIDAY 10 MAY 2019 at the very latest.

Payment for the course is to be made online. Please follow instructions on the booking form to make payment by debit or credit card using the PayPal payment service (you do not need to have a PayPal account).

Some students may be eligible for financial support from Friends of Bedfordshire Youth Music – please read more here and contact FBYM before booking a course. If you are successful, please contact us at admin@bedfordshiremusictrust.org.uk and we will organise your course booking directly.

Another event not be missed is our Bedfordshire Gala Orchestra Concert at the Bedford Corn Exchange at 7.30pm on Sunday, 21 July 2019.

150 musicians of all ages, who were trained through the Bedfordshire Music system over the past 50 years, will gather on 21st July for this grand event.

Michael Rose, doyen of the Bedfordshire music scene, and the conductor of the Bedfordshire Youth Orchestra for 40 years, will helm the concert. The programme includes much-loved music by Elgar, Delibes, Puccini and Mahler. The orchestra will be joined by international opera stars Rebecca Bottone and Rachel Nicholls, both former leading lights of the Bedfordshire Youth Opera.
