Conducted by Mr Michael Rose and coached by a team of professional musicians to a high standard of playing, our orchestra specialises in studying larger symphonic repertoire, providing a rare opportunity to prepare and perform exciting, larger-scale works.

Please note, our grade requirements are a guide – our conductors may recommend you start (or remain) in a different group to get more experience even after you have passed the relevant grade.

Our main audition period is usually October each year for the Symphony Orchestra, Concert Orchestra and the Wind Band. Youth Opera auditions are usually held in February. We can, however, arrange auditions at other times for new students.
